Memorial Day Weekend! Saturday craft for kids! Saturday evening hayride (weather permitting) and DJ dance, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Sunday church services begin. Sunday afternoon brown bag bingo and Sunday evening parade. Decorate your bikes and strollers because you are the parade! Prizes awarded!

JUNE

Bingo, bingo, bingo! Brown bag bingo to be played in the pavilion Saturday evening. (One prize worth $1.00 = one bingo card.)

Yard Sale Weekend! Sign up in the store (no charge). Multi-family yard sale Saturday morning, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We can arrange for anything not sold to be taken to Good Will. Time to clean out the trailers and make room for new memories!

Father’s Day Fun! Saturday Morning Father's Day Breakfast for the #1 Man in our lives - DAD! Arts and crafts for kids to make Dad a special gift in the afternoon! (No charge.)

Camp store opens full time! Come in and check us out! All campers registered this weekend are entered to win a free weekend of their choice (excluding holidays) of equal value, during this 2011 camping season! Drawing to be held Saturday at Spaghetti Dinner! 10% off select items of apparel in camp store! VCCA Car Club Show in front of pavilion Saturday! Spaghetti dinner in pavilion Saturday night – all campers welcome. ($1.00 for meatballs.) Please bring your own picnic kit (plates, utensils, napkins) and beverages!  Sign up in the store for head count.

JULY

4th of July Celebration! Saturday Chinese auction in pavilion (bring your canned goods / non-perishable items for purchase of auction tickets (must have a good date)! All items raised will benefit our local church food pantry!), Saturday night hayride (weather permitting), Sunday morning church service in pavilion, and Sunday afternoon brown bag bingo! Decorate your bikes and strollers because you are the parade Sunday night, followed by DJ dance, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM!

S’mores Night! Come on out Saturday night and get to know some of your fellow campers and enjoy some s’mores! Let’s have some fun and try some Campfire Games!

Campground Carnival! Moon bounce, bean bag toss, football toss … fun for all ages! Bring the family! Enjoy cotton candy, hot dogs, and funnel cake ($ for food)!

Candy CAPERS and Lollipop FOLLY! Candy rules this weekend, with games like candy bar bingo and lollipop tree! Plus, this weekend only, get 10% off candy bars in the camp store! Let your sweet tooth run wild!

SEPTEMBER

Labor Day Weekend! Saturday night hayride (weather permitting) and … it’s prom season at Old Cedar! Come to our prom on Saturday night for “Juniors” (teens) and “Seniors” (adults). 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Theme “JUST GLOW WITH IT!”. Wear anything that GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! (casual wear). Sunday morning church service, Sunday afternoon brown bag bingo and Sunday evening parade! Decorate your bikes and strollers because you are the parade! Followed by live musical entertainment by Ron Crites (www.roncrites.com) 7:00PM - 10:00PM!

Chili Cook-Off! Sign up to enter your chili into our contest! After judging, we’ll have chili and rice for dinner – we’ll provide the rice! Please bring your picnic kit (plates, utensils, napkins) and beverages! Come out and join the fun!

Appreciation Weekend! Calling all hometown heroes! Firemen, police, EMTs, paramedics, military personnel. (ID required.) Camp one night, get the second night free! Thanks for what you do! Possible visit and demonstration from our local heroes, Saturday (weather permitting).

OCTOBER

Halloween at Old Cedar! Craft for kids! Dress up in your Halloween costume and haunt the campground! Sites participating in trick or treating will have a pumpkin picture at the site (available at store). Masquerade/Costume Dance in pavilion! Bonfire and refreshments for an end of the season Monster Bash! Last weekend for seasonal. Lots of great camping left. Store Closes.

• Sports Equipment: Baseball, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard sticks & quates are available for a deposit. Tennis racquets, ping-pong paddles and balls, and golf putters and balls are available for rent in the store.

• Hayrides: Every Saturday night, weather permitting, FREE hayride for everyone. Moonlight hayrides are for adults and are also conditional upon the weather.

• Movies: Impromptu and BY REQUEST Family Movie nights in the pavilion – check in camp store.

• Church Services: Sunday mornings Memorial Day thru Labor Day, nondenominational church services in the pavilion at 10:00AM unless otherwise noted.

• Alcoholic Beverages: Alcohol is prohibited at all functions offered by the campground.
